We are offering a new PhD research position together with the EPIGUS institute.
Starting in summer semester 2013 we offer a course on Deterministic Networking. Focus will be on strategies to provide guarantees on the transmission rate or transmission times in network communications. Different protocols will be introduced. In the lab, students will develop an application to evaluate the timing characteristics of communication protocols, including the new TTEthernet protocol.

The European Commision has awarded Armin Wasicek a Marie Curie Fellowship in the 2012 IOF call.
Armin Wasicek receives a Best Paper Award at IAENG's WCECS conference for his paper titled 'Secure Information Sharing in Mixed-Criticality Systems'. He participated in the 2012 conference as speaker as well as a session chair.
