ASYNC 2014 a big success

The 20th IEEE International Conference on Asynchronous Circuits and Systems was held in Potsdam from May 12-14, 2014 with Marly Roncken (Portland University) and Andreas Steininger (ECS/TU Vienna) being the program co-chairs.

ASYNC is the premier conference on asynchronous design world wide with participants from many universities as well as companies (like Intel) all over the world. This year a "fresh idea" session format was newly introduced, which turned out a success: Numerous interesting discussions on fundamental issues of asynchronous design took place with intensive participation from the experts in the audience. This new format will hence be maintained for ASYNC 2015.
