Open PhD position in FWF project Digital Modeling of Asynchronous Integrated Circuits (DMAC)

We are looking for a PhD student interested in formal/mathematical modeling and analysis of continuous-time digital circuit abstractions, i.e., advanced delay models, in the context of the FWF basic research project Digital Modeling of Asynchronous Integrated Circuits (DMAC, project leader Prof. U. Schmid @ ECS group).

There is an open PhD position in the FWF project Digital Modeling of Asynchronous Integrated Circuits (DMAC) led by Prof. Ulrich Schmid @ ECS group of our institute.

I am looking for applications from qualified students (Master-level) interested in doing a PhD in formal-mathematical modeling and analysis, preferably with existing knowledge in the areas of distributed computing or digital circuits. There are no teaching obligations associated with this position.

Salaries are according to the standard FWF scheme (Doctoral candidate, 30h/week).

Please send applications directly to Ulrich Schmid (s@ecs.tuwien.ac.at) by email.
