Thomas Handl received his Master of Science (Diplom-Ingenieur) in Computer Sciences in 2004 from the Vienna University of Technology. Since April 2004 he is research assistant at the Institute of Computer Engineering where he also is working on his PhD thesis which is strongly releated to the FIT-IT project "DARTS - Distributed Algorithms for Robust Tick Synchronization". His main research interests are asynchronous logic, fault-tolerant hardware and FPGA-design.
