Elahe Ghalebi

I am currently a Ph.D. student in the Cyber-physical Systems Group at TU Wien and I am glad that I have Prof. Grosu and Prof. Williamson as my advisors. I’m interested in designing and building large-scale machine learning and data mining algorithms. My focus is on the area of probabilistic modeling, which is a powerful framework of methods for extracting interpretable latent structure and used in many scientific and engineering applications such as recommendation systems, network and community analysis, text and time series analysis, and online decision making. In particular, I am interested in dependent nonparametric processes - distributions over collections of measures indexed by values in some covariate space - to infer the attributes of Networks by observing a small subset out of a massive data. I received my M.Sc. in Computer Engineering at Sharif University of Technology under supervision of Prof. Rabiee and my B.Sc. from the same university in Information Technology Engineering.

Here, you can find my resume.
